As an engineer soldier and a disaster relief coordinator I experienced many tragic endings following a disaster. My intent with this book is to enable you and those you love to avoid repeating these tragedies.
We are told we need 72-hours' worth of supplies in order to survive a disaster. The danger is that this timeframe is a gross underestimation that leaves families completely vulnerable when help doesn't come. Recent events have proven this is simply not the case.
