The owner of the estate, the enigmatic Oliver Blackwood, is no mere villain. He is a self-proclaimed "preservationist" who believes he is saving humanity from the decay of time by transforming his "guests" into eternal, living works of art. As Jack struggles to unravel the mystery of the missing women—among them, the mysterious Lily and the watchful Madame—he realizes that his every move is being orchestrated by an unseen author.
