Levix cocked his head to the side but didn't come any closer. "You want to touch me?" his voice was low, and almost menacingly, as if he was trying to scare me, but instead of feeling scared, more arousal coursed through me.

Levix took a step closer but still held my wrist back with his tail. "Why aren't you scared of me?" 
I shrugged and looked at him with a smile. "Should I be? Are you going to hurt me?"
I've had plenty to be scared of in the past years, but something inside of me said that Levix wasn't one of those things. He looked frightening, and powerful, as if he could snap me like a twig, but his eyes told a different story. One of longing and loneliness. A story that I could understand all too well.
"Never," Levix said. 
That one word encompassed so much that I didn't feel like I had a fitting response to it. I just nodded and patted his tail. A strangled groan came from his throat when I touched it.
