The three of them made small talk as they sipped their tea. Having covered the weather, Michelle's studies and the mechanics of flower arranging, they came back to the elephant in the room. "Can you give me a few minutes alone with your mother, Michelle," Jeremy asked, in their pre-planned ploy. Before her mother could protest, Michelle got up and quickly left the room.
Jeremy focused all of his attention on her mother, sitting just a little closer to her on the couch. "I haven't been entirely honest with you Monica," he began.
"Oh," came the nervous reply. "How exactly?"
"Michelle doesn't owe me for rent arrears exactly and I'm not exactly her landlord. At least not in the conventional manner." He paused to watch her reaction. "She's my mistress."
"Whaaat!"
"That's right, Mrs Tyler. I fuck your daughter."
