Tara begins to realize that in this era, survival depends on navigating a complex web of influence and unspoken rules.

But as the relationship between the two deepens, the boundary between safety and control begins to blur. Tara discovers that the sanctuary offered comes with its own set of risks. In a place where trust is hard to come by, she must figure out the true intentions of those who have taken her in before she is left with nothing.
