Jennifer had eventually plucked up the courage to have her eyes seen to. They were getting worse and worse. She hated being a burden to anyone so she didn't mention her upcoming operation. But she needed a few days leave. All she had to do was ask Elaine for a couple of days off from work. And that is when everything got out of control. But, without Jennifer knowing, she wouldn't go through the operation on her own. Gavin would be there for her. He would be the friend that she needed. Gavin was besotted with Jennifer.
