Alongside survivors like the determined Kota and the pragmatic Dr. Eiko, Ren must navigate ruined streets and hidden clinics to find a way to fight back. But the creatures are learning; they are mimics that wear the faces and voices of the loved ones they have consumed. As the pressure behind his own molars grows, Ren realizes he might be the very door they are waiting to open. To save what remains of humanity, he must journey toward the "Origin," where the line between human and monster—and life and birth—begins to blur.
