This Is the Story of the Child Ruled by Fear

David has toured this production across Canada, including to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, St. Catharines, and Toronto. This play is David’s attempt to give audiences the experience of participating in the theatre-making process, specifically the first table read of a new play. It asks people to take a risk and to do something that makes them nervous in order to participate in a group acknowledgement of nervousness. It’s a very personal solo show about David’s own anxiety and depression.
