A post 9/11 love story for the ages. Southwest Florida, 2003. Rena Helmsworth, a technical writer with the newly-formed Department of Homeland Security, hires private investigator Dean Treadwell to look into a domestic terrorist cell known as Infinity that is pressuring her for highly classified information. As they work together, Rena and the detective fall into a lusty romance as steamy as Florida summer nights.

Her third week on the job, Rena is approached by a mysterious woman known only as Blue who claims she works for a shadowy organization known as Infinity. Blue demands that Rena turn over top-secret database access protocols and digital encryption schemes, and threatens to have Rena killed if she doesn't deliver. Rena and Dean negotiate the labyrinthine paths leading to Infinity, discovering it to be an al-Qaeda terrorist cell operating on ships in the Gulf of Mexico. The body count rises and the threats against them mount as they learn Infinity is planning an assault on the United States that promises to make 9/11 seem like child's play.

What Rena and the detective discover 80 miles off the coast of Florida is truly bizarre and life-changing.
