VIP Management is interdisciplinary. Patrick Ibembe chose Public Administration as his host discipline thereby negating my favorite International Relations. Ibembe shows complete mastery of VIP Management as his area of academic inquiry. In addition, he demonstrates that he has systematically investigated, studied and documented key issues and challenges that characterize VIP Management. The ease with which Ibembe combines Theory and Practice is phenomenal. As his Primary Phd Supervisor, I am happy that he has ultimately added to new knowledge in his sphere of expertise. In the course of my supervision of Ibembe, he was promoted to the rank of SPECIAL PRESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT (equivalent to a Minister of State) in the Government of Uganda precedence list, I found this well deserving.
