It was time. I ran at him. I flew into the air and landed on his back. The growl that tore through him vibrated over my body.
His body was so warm and inviting, my mate was so close to me. His brown and red streaked fur was soft and fluffy. I felt myself wanting to run my hands through it and get as close as possible.
I had to push my desires aside. I lent my body flush to his back secretly relishing the closeness of our bodies. I whispered in his ear, 'shift or your friends die.'
His huge head snapped to his friends, Weston and Cathy each had a blade to their human throats. They had made them shift too.
He growled low and angrily, but I felt his body relax in defeat. I jumped off his back and stood in front of him. 'Shift Alpha, you're my prisoner now.'
My prisoner, I shouldn't be excited about that but I really was. He's mine and only mine. His eyes bore into mine again showing pure hatred, I smirked at him keeping up my facade.
Then he shifted.
I had to hold back my gasp and control my face like never before. Standing naked in front of me was the most handsome and beastly man I have ever seen.
