An elusive permit to hike The Wave falls into Bob's lap. But will his luck run out on the trail?
The Wave topped Cathy's bucket list of hikes. She entered the uber-competitive and terribly frustrating lottery month after month for years, but she ran out of time before patience. She perished on the John Muir Trail after her husband, Bob, backed out at the last minute. Riddled with guilt, Bob committed to finishing her bucket list for her, to show her what she missed.
Join Bob and Cathy's former hiking partner, Angela, as they learn that winning the lottery is not the only obstacle to witnessing Mother Nature's masterpiece.
