I don't know how it could be better said. Unless as by the fella who founded the world's largest chain of general stores…WalMart:

Do your counter people, your sales people, your employees know who's the boss. If you haven't instilled in them that the customer has the final say in paying the rent, paying salaries, and all of you keeping your jobs, you need to do so. NOW.
